Edmonds 8

Once upon a time, she simply was the muse for one of the R&B greats, Babyface, but today she has evolved into a major player in Hollywood. We celebrate and spotlight producer, Tracey Edmonds who turns 46 today.

Currently, Edmonds is the CEO of Edmonds Entertainment Group Inc and COO of Our Stories Films. She currently sits on the National Board of Directors for the Producers Guild of America. Edmonds is a 15-year veteran of the entertainment industry who has established herself as an award-winning producer, savvy business mogul and accomplished studio executive. She has created and produced groundbreaking projects for television, music and film both independently and with major studios. She currently serves as COO and President of Our Stories Films where she oversees the development and production of projects for urban audiences, and she also serves as the CEO of her own production company, Edmonds Entertainment. Through Our Stories Films, Edmonds is also launching ALRIGHT TV in March 2013, a family and faith-friendly YouTube Channel, for which she will serve as President and CEO.

Some of today’s beloved actors and actresses such as Rosario Dawson, Kimberly Elise, Mekhi Phifer, Donald Faison, and Tracee Ellis Ross can attribute the launch of their successful careers to their start at Edmonds Management (a division of Edmonds Entertainment) and the vision of its CEO, Tracey Edmonds, who recognized their budding star power.
