DuVernay’s Big Night!!!

There wasn’t a total Blackout over the weekend as Ava Duvernay’s film won the John Cassavetes Award at the Independent Spirit Award. Don’t care what anybody says, but we are truly in a new renaissance of stories told from a Black perspective. Here’s hoping that DuVernay’s achievement will motivate the next generation of filmmakers!!! #trailblazers #congratulations
